I am not a big fan of tennis and the grand slam events. The reason why I have moved to this great village is something else. I am a frequent traveler who loves to travel around exploring different destinations. Last year, I contacted a few moving companies in Wimbledon relocation and then selected one to finally move to this village that is very popular for hosting the world’s most prominent tennis event. Here are the top 6 reasons for which I decided to start living the rest of my life there. 1. Oldest Buddhist Temple of London Wat Buddhapadipa is recognized as the first Buddhist Temple in the UK. This place is known to be a sacred place for the Buddhist community in London. The temple was opened for people back in 1982 and it covers an area of 4 acres that include gardens and a pound. I have found it a really peaceful place in the London’s busy corner. This is one of the highlights of the Wimbledon that you would love as a traveler. 2. Wimbledon Park Boating Wimbledon Park is a huge green space that has children’s play area, volleyball courts, and a lake where you can fulfill your sailing interests. The Wimbledon Park Watersports Center offers you windsurfing, canoes, and kayaks. The park also has the tennis courts so you will love visiting this place again and again. 3. Cannizaro House Cannizaro House was built back in 1700s. It is located in the corner of the Wimbledon Common that is known for its rich history of hosting noble families like King George V’s mistress who was the wife of Duke of Wellington. The house is now turned into a hotel but I still love the grounds of this great park. The Cannizaro Park includes beautiful azalea gardens and rhododendron. This place also arranges open air theater in the summer months for the public. 4. Traditional British Pubs Wimbledon is one of the finest places in London to spend time in a cold and rainy day. I have found many traditional pubs in the village and some of them are really nice for the pub lovers. Crooked Billet is my favorite pub in the village that I often visit in the area. I just love their hearty home cooked food and I hope you would also enjoy it if you are in Wimbledon. 5. Nice People I have found the locals very friendly and good in nature. After moving to this village, I was looking for the junk removal companies near me in Wimbledon. I asked a few people around and they all guided me in a proper manner. May be it’s my good luck, but I have found all of my neighbors nice and friendly and believe it is in the nature of the all residents of this great village. This is another good reason why I like to live in this corner of the London. 6. Farmers’ Market For a family like us easy access to a regular farmers market is really important. Thanks to the Farmers’ Market that takes place on every Saturday at the Wimbledon Park Primary School. You can easily get all of your required stuff from there including organic vegetables, organic cheeses, preservatives, and the butcher’s stalls. Apart from the above highlighted things the village also offers decent job and business opportunities to people. I relocated to this place after doing a thorough research about the place and if you are planning to relocate there, then I would call it a highly recommended place to spend the rest of your life in a peaceful environment.
